Kristin Collier, MD, FACP, is an associate professor of internal medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she serves as the director of the University of Michigan Medical School Program on Health, Spirituality and Religion. She received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her internship, residency and chief residency at The University of Michigan Hospitals. Her academic interests are in the overlap of spirituality, religion and medicine, and her peer reviewed work has been published in JAMA Internal Medicine, British Medical Journal, Annals of Internal Medicine, The Journal of General Internal Medicine and American Journal of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She has had writings published in Notre Dame’s Church Life Journal, Theopolis, America Magazine, Public Discourse and The New York Times. She is also a wife and a proud mother of four boys.

Dr. Peter Saunders

Dr. Peter Saunders trained as a general surgeon in Auckland, New Zealand before serving as a missionary doctor in Kenya. After theological training at All Nations Christian College, he then left clinical medicine and served with the Christian Medical Fellowship UK for 27 years, including eight years as Head of Student Ministries and 19 years as Chief Executive. At the same time, he served 13 years as Director of the Care Not Killing Alliance in end-of-life advocacy. In 2019, he became Chief Executive of the International Christian Medical & Dental Association (ICMDA), which brings together Christian medical and dental associations in more than 100 countries. His current work involves leadership training, teaching evangelism and ethics, medical missions, writing, editing and media work. Peter and his wife Kirsty live in St. Albans in the United Kingdom, and they have three sons and four grandchildren. They are members of Spicer Street Church St Albans.

Carl R. Trueman, MA, PhD

Professor of Biblical and Religious Studies, Grove City College
Born and raised in England, Carl R. Trueman is a graduate of the Universities of Cambridge (MA, classics) and Aberdeen (PhD, church history), and he has taught on the faculties of the Universities of Nottingham and Aberdeen. In 2017-18, he was the William E. Simon Visiting Fellow in Religion and Public Life in the James Madison Program at Princeton University. Since 2018, he has served as a professor at Grove City College in the Calderwood School of Arts and Humanities. For academic year 2025-26, he is the Busch Family Research Fellow at the University of Notre Dame. Originally a specialist in Reformation and Post-Reformation Protestant thought, more recently his work has focused on identity, critical theory and the impact of the sexual revolution. He is a Contributing Editor at First Things and a Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C. His most recent books are The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self: Expressive Individualism, Cultural Amnesia, and the Road to Sexual Revolution, (with Bruce Gordon) The Oxford Handbook to Calvin and To Change All Worlds: Critical Theory from Marx to Marcuse (B and H). His writing has appeared in Deseret Journal, Wall Street Journal, National Review Online, American Mind, Claremont Review of Books and Public Discourse. He and his wife Catriona, a proud Gaelic Scot, have two adult sons, a daughter-in-law and a granddaughter.
